Queen of the Deen 2024!
The Queen of the Deen 2024 Premier night went down a storm as always. Big turn out, wild edits and a great venue made for a special night showcasing all the edits from this year's Queen of the Deen challenge.
Reigning champs GCLK went and done it for the third year in a row and took home the trophy as well as winning the viewers choice award by quite some margin. GCLK warrior Eddie P even took the MVP award on the night for racking so many points this year with no half measures. So well done to GCLK for putting together another amazing edit that got the crowd going wild.
Sare Fecht came in a very close second place, just a few points behind GCLK with a strong four man team. Both teams tackled the lengthy and quite frankly terrifying square rail at the new UTG layout for the longest grind challenge but GCLK got the tow in which added a couple of extra feet the their distance. Endez shuts down their edit with a beauty of a combo on the drop down ledges at UTG.
Los Pollos Her Manuals took the bronze medal position in third place by ticking off a bunch of the challenges and showcased the kind of fun that QOTD is designed to make teams enjoy.
Hometown hero John Rattray made a surprise appearance by introducing the Crackers and Cheese edit featuring some of Aberdeen's up and coming young guns that always produce a great edit. (Possibly the strongest looking cocktail of them all..)
Big Homer came through with another fan favourite edit, getting a good chunk of votes in the viewers choice. Lot's of mouth watering Euro spots in this one from the recent 2 month trip that locals Daisy, Angelo and Hamish embarked on. If there was an award for best mohawk, Kaleb would have won it for these guys.
Overall, every single team came through with solid edits, even if the weather did get in the way of things over the first chunk of the event. So well done to everyone that took part, excellent work.
We'll be back with a new Queen of the Deen in 2026 with a few twists involved so stay tuned for more info. In the meantime you can watch all this year's entries on our YouTube channel as well as entries from the past two years. Get comfy and enjoy. :)
